Working with fearful and timid dogs.

When I first met Sylo, he was trembling and shaking nervously in the far corner of the daycare, clearly trying to distance himself from all the other dogs who were happily playing and interacting with one another. It was immediately evident that Sylo felt overwhelmed by the social environment. When I brought this situation to the owner’s attention, they expressed their deep concerns about Sylo's fearful and anxious behavior, particularly around other dogs and unfamiliar people he had never encountered before.

Sylo was so anxious that even the slightest strange noise or unexpected movement would set him off into a barking frenzy, much to everyone’s surprise and concern. From the start, it was clear that helping Sylo was going to require a comprehensive behavioral modification plan, employing clicker-based positive reinforcement training, combined with agility exercises and carefully controlled socialization techniques to build his confidence step by step.

Remarkably, within just a month of following this dedicated training regimen, Sylo had made significant progress and was able to comfortably join the other dogs in the daycare environment, proudly showcasing a newfound confidence that was inspiring to everyone involved.
